How long does each stage of the Twin Flame journey last?

There are no “stages” as such in the twin flame journey. We use the term “stages” just for making it easy for us to describe the experience in some sort of a structure.

You will read too much about these so-called stages on the internet, but according to my experience and understanding, these stages can just be taken as a basic guideline to understand this phenomenon.

The actual journey is not about these stages and if at all you consider your experience as stages, these stages are not linear.

Any stage can come after any stage, depending upon your journey (everyone will have their own unique journey) and that stage can repeat multiple times — till you learn what you were supposed to learn.

Most internet articles describe – bubble love as the first stage. That’s not true. For many it comes much later.

In my case, my journey directly started with separation. Then we landed in a crisis. We experienced separation and crisis also after I surrendered. Then was the bubble love. Then again separation.

Initially I used to think that the stages are there and they are linear. So naturally I expected after surrender there will be illumination and then there is only one thing remaining – union. But we’ll…no that understanding was wrong. We again landed in separation. And this time it was a major one as most of our Ascension happened during this period. After the illumination.

That is when I really learned that the “stages” was just a term and they were not linear. They will repeat until we fulfill the purpose of that experience.

Case to case it will vary. If you understand this, you will also understand that as there are no specific stages coming after another, and as the journey is unique for everyone — there is no standard set for the duration of each stage…as firstly it is not a ‘stage’ in real sense. The so-called stage will last until it fulfills its purpose.
